In the conclusion of my conversation with Efe (AddictedToTheTheatre.blogspot.ca) we discuss parks, fitness, men who have no chill (as the kids say), being old, social media and city life. Did she almost fall out of a roller coaster once? Did she almost die in Montreal? Where are all the subway performers that you always hear so much about? What is the best way to handle a crazy person late at night? Answers to these questions and more make up this episode. As always, leave a comment to let us know what you think.

Fry Cook on Venus Podcast: Feed The Dragon
On this edition of the #FCoV podcast, I talk to my friend Efe (of AddictedToTheTheater.blogspot.ca) for the first time in more than a year. In this first of two episodes with her, we discuss how to pronounce Lagos, Captain America: Civil War, Daredevil, Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Game of Thrones, Scandal & Vikings. Did I mention GoT already? There’s a lot about that show in this one. If you’re a fan, we’d love to hear your take on our conversation in the comments.

Fry Cook on Venus Podcast: Baby, Don't Hurt Me
Love is in the air, groove is in the heart & another edition of the #FCoV podcast has made it to the world. Rejoice! My guest from last week returned in order to continue a conversation that stemmed from a previous blog post of mine. Are wedding proposals via the Internet fair or foul? We also rehash the old "Who Keeps The Ring" debate in addition to talking about dating & love in general. Give it a listen & let us know what you think.

Finding Music Online
Do any of you remember the last time you took time out from your schedule to make a trip to your favourite record store to see what new music was in? If yes, I firmly believe that you're in a minority. The availability of legal music on the Internet might be at an all-time high these days & I think it's fantastic for those that are willing to adapt. Personally, I don't mind opening my SoundCloud app & finding a new mix-tape waiting to be downloaded at all.

I went downtown for a information session regarding my post-graduate studies. However, you & I both know no one wants to read about that. So I'm going to cut to the part where you're going to shake your head.

The Half-Way Point
I'm miserable. The last few weeks have been difficult & I feel like even on the rare occasion I see the Sun, the moment is overshadowed by the fact that I'm cold. However, the word "blog" has been kicked around a few times this week so in an effort to steal the ideas of a friend of mine vent my frustrations, here are some words that I wrote.
Writing out a bunch of blog posts. Not all of them are being released today though. #TisTheSeason to be creative.

It's Friday, Friday
Last night, Tru-Def put me on to Rebecca Black's "Friday". I've shown her a lot of random videos, but whenever she sends one my way it's quality.
Keep Your Tongue
I realize it's lame that I'm still telling this story after it happened six days ago, but I promised a friend I'd fill her in. Before we being though, I'd just like to clarify that this isn't me bragging. So before you all get ideas & the lesbian rate skyrockets, let me say "No homo." Now, let me get onto this dude's tongue.
NHL Face-off 2010
I'll never forget what happened on the first day of the Maple Leafs's 2009-2010 season, for previously stated reasons. Due to this, I couldn't let today pass without some sort of adventure. It's didn't go exactly as I planned but it happened, & at the end of the day that's all you can ask for.
O.T.P. – Warm/Cool Showers on Cold/Hot Nights
Yes, I was too lazy to type this up weeks ago. Well, it's not so much laziness as it is an unwillingness to prove myself wrong... again.
I sided with team cool showers on hot nights.

#Poll: Warm shower on a cold night OR Cool shower on a hot night?

O.T.P. – LUCKY v TOXIC
Welcome to 'On The Poll'; a series that aims to random questions that cross my mind, randomly. Questions are asked on Twitter, Facebook, Wordpress or even in real life (for the unfortunate few of you have to see me on a daily basis). Let's see how far this can go on before it just gets annoying, shall we?

Walls Fall Down
So I had to head out early from studying with the team today to play taxi driver for a bit today. As I get out of the library building, I notice a police cruiser blocking off traffic on Gould Street. I figure there was some kind of fun event I was missing out on, so I didn't even want to look, but for those that know me, you know I always see fun as a worthy temptation.
Idiotic Logic: Mother/Father & Child
Ladies & gents, I 'd like to present the final installment of this trilogy, for now. Be warned, this part is less "Return of the Jedi" & more "The Godfather III".
Mother/Father: Starting at the back end of the words, we see "ther" which likely refers to the claim that they will always be there for you. "Mo" & "fa" would then have to represent the fact that they would (or should) be willing to do more & go farther more you, respectively, than anyone else in your life. However, that probably changes around the time they start to consider charging you for rent.
Child: This was a mission, but I decided that this would best be explained with an acronym. Therefore, my idea was: Covenants of Heaven In Life... Delivered. I know, that's pretty deep, right?

Idiotic Logic: Wife
If you missed the first entry in this series, please do check out the previous post. It won't increase your IQ, but it'll certainly help you waste time. Anyways...
Wife: As any man knows as he enters a marriage with a woman, there may be a good chance that he'll be there for a while. In fact, one might say that he'd be with her for life. Note the words "with" and "life". Now if you were to combine the two & use the result as a title for someone, you'd be able to understand the origin of the word "wife". I'm assuming the less popular term "lith" just failed to catch on with the public.

Idiotic Logic: Husband
In between debating compressible liquids with my buddy Confucius, aka "She's still not on Twitter", I was asked about the origin of certain words. Now while it would be easier to use the web to decipher the origins of the given words, I figured that this would be a fantastic time to exercise a skill that I haven't exercised in a bit: "Idiotic Logic" (which is by far the best type of logic). So without further ado:Husband: I'm imagining a "Sex in the City" brunch-type scene taking place way back when in the days of Yore. One woman strolls up wearing a new ring, while the rest are asking "Who's band is that?" Obviously, the blushing bride is bound to brag & be like "This is his band" pointing to her significant other. From there the others, caring more about the jewelry than about the dudes name, probably just addressed him as the "His band" which over time must've evolved to the "Husband" in an effort to demphasize the importance of material possessions in a relationship.
