FCoV Podcast: Opinionated Opinions

This week on the show, yours truly flies solo in an attempt to tackle a new set of questions from author/writer/legend Chuck Klosterman. I'm not sure if this one was as fun for me as my previous encounters with the works of Mr. Klosterman but if you're interested in getting a better perspective of me, here's one for you, stalkers. Feel free to answer along with me in the comments section & have some fun with me.

Fry Cook On Venus Podcast: Cheeseburger Under The Bed

If I didn't know any better, I'd say that the Fry Cook on Venus podcast was becoming a habit. A new addiction, if you will. I suppose such a comparison is fitting for the latest episode because I imagine it'll be hilarious if you're under the influence of some sort of drug. My pal Kam & I caught up with each other for the first time in months, while he was doing legitimate work, & recorded this conversation. We didn't have a predetermined theme or any sort of direction that we thought this episode should so be warned: It's random. However, aren't all the best conversations with your friends?

Finding Music Online

Do any of you remember the last time you took time out from your schedule to make a trip to your favourite record store to see what new music was in? If yes, I firmly believe that you're in a minority. The availability of legal music on the Internet might be at an all-time high these days & I think it's fantastic for those that are willing to adapt. Personally, I don't mind opening my SoundCloud app & finding a new mix-tape waiting to be downloaded at all.

Island Adventure

Since my first year in university, I've heard about the annual parade & picnic held by Ryerson on Centre Island in Toronto. I never made the time to attend this concert until my fifth year though. At first I didn't have the friends I wanted to go with & in later years I had classes I needed to attend but on Friday it finally happened.

It's Friday, Friday

Last night, Tru-Def put me on to Rebecca Black's "Friday". I've shown her a lot of random videos, but whenever she sends one my way it's quality.

Me + Virgin

Ever have one of those days where you think "Why don't cameras follow me 24/7?" Yesterday was one of those pour moi. When I got up, I had a plan of how the day would go. By the time I got out of my room, that plan was thrown out of the window.
